Abstract

the article presents an analysis of the dynamics of indicators of ontological confidence (OU) in three clients (Ksenia, Mikhail, Irina) after completing a course of Cathartic imaginative psychotherapy (KIP). Ontological confidence, understood as a basic sense of reality, integrity, and security of one's own being, is a fundamental aspect of mental health. The study demonstrates that KIP, working with unconscious processes through images and symbols, contributes to a significant strengthening of OU, manifested in reducing the "false Self", increasing basic trust in the world and improving vital contacts. The results highlight the effectiveness of TRC in resolving deep-seated existential conflicts and shaping a more authentic way of existence.
