Psychological determinants of time perspective in Internet-active users

this article presents the results of an experimental study of psychological determinants of time perspective in active Internet users. The main goal is to identify personality types of Internet users depending on their immersion in the Internet environment, and then to identify the specifics of the determinants of time perspective. A definition is given to such a psychological phenomenon as an "Internet active user" from the position of Russian psychologist A.I. Luchinkina. The definition of "time perspective" is characterized taking into account the works of Russian researchers such as: E.A. The data of M.V. Tsvek and M.A. Rushina are presented regarding the determinacy of maladaptive behavior on the Internet by the presence or absence of a balance of time perspectives and basic beliefs of the user. The main part of the article is devoted to the presentation of the results of applying factor analysis in two selected experimental groups. From the general sample, based on the comparison of the obtained test data, an experimental group of overly active Internet users and a control group of active Internet users are identified. The characteristics of the personality of an Internet-active user and an overly active Internet user are identified and described. The factors determining the features of the time perspective of Internet-active and overly active Internet users are identified.
