Abstract
the research relevance is due to the increasing requirements for the level of professional competence of psychologists. Insufficient readiness for professional self-development can lead to professional stagnation, reduced competitiveness and dissatisfaction with professional activity. The research goal is to systematize the main parameters of readiness for professional self-development of future psychologists in the process of studying at a university. To achieve the goal, the following tasks were solved in the study: the analysis of theoretical approaches to determining the essence and structure of readiness for professional self-development was carried out; the factors influencing the formation of readiness for professional self-development in psychology students have been identified; the main criteria for the development of readiness for professional self-development are revealed. The research methodology includes: historiographical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the topic under study, formal logical method, comparison, generalization, method of scientific systematization. Based on the results, the conclusions were formulated: the main components in the process of professional training of psychologists are reflection, adequate self-esteem, critical thinking and an attitude to continuous professional improvement. The effectiveness of professional training of psychologists is ensured by the introduction of innovative technologies that allow students to be involved in simulated professional situations as much as possible.
