Author Guidelines

Materials of an article proposed for publication in the Journal are submitted electronically in Microsoft Office Word format with the .doc extension

  • The article must contain the results of scientific research, theoretical, practical (innovative) developments and comply with the main scientific directions of the journal. Requirements for article formatting are given in accordance with GOST P 7.0.7–2021. At least 80% of an article must be original content/writing

– Authors must make references to ORCID.

– All materials must be submitted electronically, preferably in Microsoft Word. The volume of an article is at least 6 pages, with margins of 2 cm, font Times New Roman, font size – 14, spacing – single.

– Articles should be structured under the section headings Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and highlighted in bold.

Materials and methods section should include in paragraphs:

Object of study.

Characteristics of territories, natural and climatic conditions (usually for agriculture and crop production).

Experimental design.

Equipment and technical means.

Statistical processing.

  • Both in Russian and English: title of the article – in capital bold letters; then, single-spaced, the initials and full last name of the authors; name of the institution where each of the authors works; the following are placed single spaced: abstract – up to 150-200 words, keywords – up to 10 words; the text of the article in Russian with tables and figures. The title and contents of figures and tables are given both in Russian and English.
  • For a scientific article, its index is determined according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC).
  • Graphic material (diagrams, pictures, etc.) must be presented in a form that ensures clarity of all details, contrasting, executed on a computer and allows further editing in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel. Graphic material is published only in black and white, but the authors provide it in electronic form in color. The title and contents of the figures are given both in Russian and in English.

– At the end of the article, information about the authors must be indicated in Russian and English: last name, first name, patronymic in full, academic degree, academic title, position held and place of work with address information, contact numbers and email addresses for feedback.

If the authors are unable to translate the required information into English, the Journal carries out the translation.

References are placed at the end of the article in the form of a general list, which should contain only the sources referenced in the article. References must be from publications with a high impact factor. Sources must be published in the last 5-7 years. Do not use textbooks, educational and reference manuals, dissertations and abstracts of dissertations as sources.

The list must include at least 15 references. 

Self-citation should not exceed 20% of the total number of sources. In the list of sources, 90% should contain articles with DOI. Review articles must contain at least 50 sources.

The reference in the text is placed in parentheses indicating the surname, initials of the author and the year of publication (Ivanov I.I., 2011). When mentioning several publications of one author in one year, a letter marker is used (Ivanov I.I., 2011a; 2011b; 2011c). Citing a reference that has two authors, both authors are indicated (Ivanov I.I. and Petrov V.V., 2011). Citing a reference that has more than two authors, the surname and initials of the first author are indicated and the mark “et al.” is indicated. (Ivanov I.M. et al., 2011; English version: Ivanov IM et al., 2011).

Russian references must be formatted in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008 (see section “Behind-text bibliographic reference”). According to the Vancouver Referencing style adopted by the Journal, there should be transliteration after each Russian reference.

English references should also be listed in Vancouver style.

The list begins with the Russian references in alphabetical order, and continues with a list of English references in alphabetical order. Additionally, the same list of sources is given in English in References; the numbering of entries must coincide with the numbering in the Russian references.

    The editorial Board of the journal and the administration of the website of the journal do not transfer personal information in any way specified by the users when working with the website of the journal to third parties, except for those cases and to the extent specified in the terms of the copyright agreement.
The affiliation work and e-mail address of the authors of the article accepted for publication will be published in the Section "Information about the authors" of the printed version of the Journal and in the section "About the authors" on the page of the article on the website of the Journal.
The phone number of the corresponding author will be known only by the editorial Board Secretariat and will only be used in cases of emergency.
