The Impact of Eating Behavior Patients Patterns and Lifestyle on the Outcomes of Infertility Treatment Programs Using ART Methods
Abstract
The average number of years to achieve pregnancy with the birth of a healthy child in couples with infertility remains at the same levels. Currently, a search is underway for new methods that can improve the outcomes of ART programs, but modifiable risk factors such as lifestyle and nutrition remain underestimated. According to the literature, both excess and low body weight have a negative impact on reproductive function, contributing to the development of infertility. Existing recommendations for nutrition and lifestyle correction apply to patients planning natural pregnancy or to patients with concomitant somatic pathology in order to minimize risk factors. A shift in the lipid balance towards relative hyperlipidemia in patients with the onset of clinical pregnancy indicates the fact of the influence of lipid metabolism on the processes of implantation, the onset of pregnancy and full development of the fetus, which emphasizes the influence of lipid metabolism on the outcomes of infertility treatment using ART methods. The aim of the study was to determine the patterns of eating behavior of patients seeking infertility treatment using assisted reproductive technologies. An analysis of the nutritional culture of patients was carried out, nutrition and lifestyle were corrected, followed by an assessment of embryological indicators during a repeat ART program.

Clinical significance of immunohistochemical expression of «early» HPV proteins in the diagnosis of squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix and uterus of mild degree
Abstract
This study evaluated the immunohistochemical expression of early HPV proteins (E1, E2, E4) for the differential diagnosis of cervical SIL. A cross-sectional study was conducted from 2022–2023 on 128 HPV-positive patients aged 18–50 years, divided into 4 groups based on histological diagnosis (no lesions, chronic cervicitis, LSIL, HSIL). Analysis showed that a history of LSIL for 2 or more years was statistically significantly more frequent in patients with HSIL (46.7%). Expression of E2 protein in the upper 2/3 layers of the cervical epithelium was more often observed in LSIL (87.5%), and in the upper 1/3 of the cervical epithelium, in HSIL (66.7%). Expression of E1+E4 proteins was statistically significantly more frequent in LSIL (50%). The sensitivity and specificity of IHC expression of HPV E2 proteins in the upper 2/3 layers of the squamous epithelium of the cervix and E1+E4 for LSIL were 87.5% and 92.9%, and 50% and 91%, respectively. The obtained results indicate the importance of using early HPV proteins E1, E2, E4 for the differential diagnosis of LSIL.

Electrodermal Activity as a Non-invasive Indicator Reflecting Changes in the Activity of the Sympathetic Nervous System in Newborns
Abstract
The autonomic nervous system (ANS) plays a key role in maintaining homeostasis and adapting the body to stress, especially in the early neonatal period. The sympathetic nervous system (SNS), as the stress-implementing department of the ANS, provides a rapid body response to external and internal stimuli, including painful stimuli. The review presents modern methods for assessing sympathetic activity in newborns. The necessity of developing and improving methods of objective assessment of the sympathetic nervous system in newborns is substantiated in order to prevent and reduce the negative consequences of violations of vital body functions of a newborn child. Special attention is paid to electrodermal activity (EDA). The mechanisms of EDA, its relation to the activities of the SNS, as well as the prospects for using EDA to assess pain, stress response, and monitor the effectiveness of pain relief in neonatal practice are considered.

Strategy for the Diagnosis of Latent Tuberculosis Infection in Children with Atopic Diseases
Abstract
The article discusses a modern strategy for diagnosing tuberculous infection in children suffering from atopic diseases such as bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis. Given the unfavorable epidemiological situation, difficulties in interpreting the results of immunodiagnostics of tuberculous infection in children with atopy, this study highlights the importance of early detection and monitoring of latent tuberculous infection in this category of patients. The article presents an analysis of the use of modern intradermal tests, as well as a discussion of the features of interpreting the results of immunodiagnostics in children with atopic diseases. It is noted that the use of a test with ATP (Diaskintest®) allows for differential diagnostics of tuberculosis infection and post-vaccination allergy in children within the framework of outpatient and polyclinic care, without using additional research methods, without resorting to visiting anti-tuberculosis institutions, which reduces the level of anxiety and improves the quality of life of patients and their parents/legal representatives.

The Effectiveness of Herbal Remedies as Therapeutic and Preventive Measures for Cystitis in Children
Abstract
The study included 88 children aged from 1 to 14 years (Iu = 7.5 years) with dysuric disorders in whom the diagnosis of cystitis was confirmed endoscopically. The main group consisted of 46 children who received the herbal medicinal product Canephron N as monotherapy for acute manifestations of the disease, as well as a preventive measure for 6 months. The control group included 42 children on antibiotic therapy and without preventive measures. The sufficiency of the herbal drug for relieving the symptoms of the disease was noted, as well as a significant decrease in the probability of total relapses (p=0.005), especially exacerbations of cystitis (p=0.041), including those of a recurrent nature (p=0.038). The advantages of Canephron N were also considered based on a comparative assessment of the dynamics of the urine microflora in the acute period and during exacerbations in catamnestic observation. The results obtained indicate the expediency of using Canephron N in children with cystitis for therapeutic and preventive purposes.

Clinical And Anamnestic Portrait Of Women Over 40 Years Old In Assisted Reproductive Technology Programs Using Their Own Oocytes
Abstract
To study clinical and anamnestic features of women over 40 years of age with infertility using assisted reproductive with their own oocytes. The study included 520 infertile couples with late reproductive age of the woman (over 40 years) for the period from 2016 to 2024. Descriptive statistics were used to present the clinical and anamnestic characteristics of the group. The causes of infertility were determined and the role of somatic and gynecological diseases in the development of infertility in study cohort were presented. The study of clinical and anamnestic data is a primary task for clinicians, and an individual approach to the correction of concomitant pathology helps improve the outcomes of infertility treatment.

The Role of Hormonal Contraceptives in the Modern Management of Reproductive-age Patients
Abstract
Having a systemic effect, hormonal drugs are one of the most effective therapeutic options in the management of patients of various ages and physiological conditions. A woman’sinterest in contraception can transform into pregnancy planning within a few months, so not only the contraceptive, but also the antiproliferative properties of the drug are important. Family planning and contraception are important aspects of women’shealth that affect virtually every one of them at various stages of life. In today’ssociety, where women are increasingly taking an active part in professional and social life, the need for effective and safe methods of contraception is becoming especially urgent. As an advantage of modern hormonal drugs, it should be noted the possibility of replenishing the folate pool in the body of the expectant mother in combination with contraception. Along with folate, weshould pay attention to sufficient.

The Choice of Management Tactics for Patients with Deep Endometriosis and Infertility
Abstract
The article discusses the methods of surgical treatment of deep endometriosis and the effect of surgical treatment on fertility. To date, there is no standardized approach to the treatment of deep endometriosis. Due to the variety of symptoms, an individual approach is needed in treatment, which takes into account the nature of the lesion and the patient’sdesires. The choice between first-line surgery and ART is difficult, and doctors must consider various factors, including the patient’sage, severity of symptoms, ovarian reserve, and individual risk factor.

Hydatidiform Mole and Living Fetus: Pregnancy Course and Prognosis Part 2. Termination of Pregnancy
Abstract
A live fetus combined with a hydatidiform mole is an extremely rare pathology in obstetric practice. Such pregnancies are associated with a high risk of both obstetric complications and fetal pathology. Current experience in managing pregnant women with a hydatidiform mole is very limited, being represented by publications of isolated observations. We present the second part of the analysis of our own clinical experience in managing pregnant women with a live fetus combined with a hydatidiform mole with an unfavorable pregnancy outcome.
