Topical issues of formation and development of the institute of school self-government in ensuring effective management of educational organizations of Russia

the scientific article presents the results of the study of the main issues and problems in the formation and development of the institution of school self-government in the practice of the Russian school education system. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the presence of these problems leads to difficulties in the development of the institution of school self-government, thereby reducing the effectiveness of management of educational organizations in Russia, using comprehensive schools as an example. The importance of having an institution of school self-government ensures the development of a school educational organization, improves the quality of interaction between students and teachers, allowing the implementation of the initiatives and potential of the former. The article examines the features of the formation and development of the institution of school self-government in the management of school education organizations. The key problems that arise in the process of creating, developing and managing institutions of school self-government in the practice of educational organizations in Russia are identified. The identified shortcomings and difficulties allow us to formulate the main directions for improving the system of development of school self-government institutions in the practice of Russian school education. The article concludes by identifying the main factors and reasons for which current problems of the formation and development of the school self-government institution in the modern system of general education in Russia arise.
