Research objectives. To determine the initial level of team cohesion, to develop and implement a set of pedagogical measures aimed at its formation, and to compare changes in psychological and performance indicators before and after the intervention. Methods and organization of the study. Both qualitative and quantitative methods of sports psychology were used, including questionnaires and tests, sociometry, observation and expert evaluation, psychophysiological methods, and statistical analysis. Special psycho-pedagogical techniques and exercises were integrated into the traditional training process of the Yermak Football School team in Tomsk. Results and conclusions. The final indicators made it possible to conclude that purposeful work on team cohesion has a comprehensive impact on both the psychological and performance functioning of the team. According to the results, the pedagogical experiment demonstrated the necessity of integrating psycho-pedagogical work into the training system of football teams.
