Educational quests as a pedagogical method for developing skills in using combat techniques of the employees of the Russian Internal Affairs Directorate

the presented article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment with the participation of cadets and students of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, which was conducted using educational quest tasks. The experiment was conducted in a specially equipped light and noise room using non-standard tasks, within the framework of which the formation of practical skills in the use of combat techniques of struggle in extreme conditions was checked. An educational quest is a kind of problem that is posed to participants, where they must complete educational tasks. Unlike educational problems, an educational quest has elements of a plot, a role-playing game associated with the search and discovery of information to solve educational problems, which uses the resources of a territory or information resources. The authors of the work have proven that the use of educational quests in physical training classes forms the skills of students in applying previously studied motor actions in extreme situations, as close as possible to the real conditions of detaining an offender who is actively resisting.
