The linguistic personality of a modern schoolboy in polyethnic Kabardino-Balkaria: the influence of extralinguistic factors on its formation and development

in the framework of this work, the analysis of the peculiarities of the formation of the linguistic personality of modern schoolchildren in Kabardino-Balkaria is carried out. The main distinguishing features of this spatial and territorial environment are: the diversity and variability of the multiethnic space; the tendency to expand the limits of intercultural communication; the increasing importance of awareness of an individual's belonging to the "Russian world", symbolizing involvement in Russian society; the growing importance of national identity; the popularization of confessional theses and positions; strengthening the individual's need for ethnocultural social support and assistance; activation of urban trends that predetermine the strengthening of social stratification; increased activity of media discourse, ensuring the formation of a modern media culture of representatives of society; intensification of the processes of obtaining and distributing media content; increasing the individual's need for moral and spiritual improvement, etc. The article emphasizes that in the multiethnic environment of Kabardino-Balkaria, the predominant role belongs to the fundamental Russian-speaking culture, ethnic cultures of indigenous nations, and Islamic confessional culture, which, in turn, determine the cultural interests and priorities of the linguistic personality of schoolchildren. The purpose of the article is to identify the uniqueness of the formation of the LP of schoolchildren in the multiethnic space of the KBR.
