Abstract
the article is devoted to the systematization of knowledge about the nature of disinformation in modern media. This paper analyzes the key channels of its dissemination, including deepfake technologies, microTargeting, and pseudoscientific myths. Based on a comparative analysis of historical and modern cases, technological, psychological, and political drivers of disinformation have been identified. A comprehensive counteraction model is proposed that combines machine learning algorithms, educational programs, and legislative initiatives. The results of the study demonstrate the need to increase the media literacy of the population and develop interdisciplinary strategies to minimize the negative impact of disinformation on social stability.
