Formation of independence among teenagers in sports sections: pedagogical conditions and mechanisms

Abstract
the article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment aimed at studying the influence of sports club activities on the development of adolescents’ independence. The study involved 60 students, divided into control and experimental groups. The Independence Diagnostic Method (Kovalchuk, 2018) was applied to assess the outcomes. Statistical analysis using Student's t-test revealed significant differences in the dynamics of initiative, responsibility, and self-control between the groups (p < 0.01). The findings suggest that specially organized pedagogical conditions contribute to the intensification of personal development processes in adolescents. In addition, the article provides a comparative analysis of Russian and international studies and practical recommendations for educators and coaches on integrating these results into educational practice.
