Role Playing as an Efficient Teaching and Testing Technique: Updating the Rules

Abstract

The article based on the author’s experience in teacher training and teacher development looks at the rules of organizing role playing adequately to enhance the effectiveness of the technique in the foreign language classroom. The article offers sample role plays and teaching recommendations which could help improve the quality of the foreign language classroom as well as the efficiency of teacher training.
