Abstract
The article explores ways of automating the playing-recording cycle for more efficient oral interpreting training in computer classes. In particular the authors note difficulties due to specific listening-speaking algorithm in consecutive interpreting. The effort leads to the analysis of modern language labs, corresponding features of personal mobile devices, as well as VBA-powered solutions. This revealed the need for an intermediary application that would complement language labs to meet the training needs in the context of consecutive and bilateral interpreting.
