The article is devoted to the process of formation and development of political parties in Iraqi Kurdistan. The article examines the evolution of the concept of “political party”, compares political parties in terms of their nature and genesis in different countries, primarily the Middle East. The article analyzes the common and special features of the Iraqi-Kurdish parties, as well as their political prospects.

The article substantiates the expediency of distinguishing civilizational geopolitics as a separate scientific discipline within the framework of geopolitics and political science. An attempt is made to formulate and consider the methodological foundations of civilizational geopolitics. The author defines the object, the subject of civilizational geopolitics, describes the main methods, models and methodological approaches used in the research of geocivilization processes. It is concluded that in the conditions of an increasingly complex world order, it is very difficult to obtain a relevant geopolitical picture of the world without a geo-civilizational analysis.

The article examines the main directions of France foreign policy in Africa. Examination the essence of the Fifth Republic's current African policy in the context of globalization and multipolarity. Particular attention is paid to security policy, economic, cultural and social interactions. The author concludes that the current neocolonial French policy in Africa is ineffective and requires a new approach based on an equal partnership.

There is attempt of reconstruction of political struggle for the Hetman’s title in the paper, which conducted in the Zaporozhian Host in 1672. The concept of patronage is used to reconstruct groups of starshyna involved in the struggle. In addition, the article analyzes the role of Moscow in these events. As a result of the research, it was possible to argue that the tsar government allowed the Cossack starshyna to decide who would be elected the hetman.

The article examines the evolution of the US strategic approaches towards Russia, conditioned by the formation of Russia's independent foreign policy, awareness of itself as a Eurasian state-civilization and, on the other hand, the increased activity of Washington in the context of the Ukrainian crisis.

The article is devoted to the history of the development of the Spanish language policy since the collapse of the empire and the separation of the colonies. Based on the materials of Russian and foreign researchers, as well as mass media articles, three concepts of the unification of Hispanic nations are described: Hispanoamericanism, Panhispanism, Hispanidad, which formed the basis of modern Hispanophony. The author analyzes the current state of the Spanish language policy, both domestic and foreign, and derive its main characteristics.

Researchers argue about when and where the Hungarian-Polish Chronicle was created. Comparison of the text with material from other sources makes it possible to clarify the origin of only some of the news relating to Rus' and its neighboring nomad people. The chronicler mentions Galich and the Russian population living in the Hungarian and Polish borderlands. The chronicle lacks the chronology of the events described and their sequence is confused, which is why Mstislav the Daring became a relative of Saint Ladislas. The Hungarian-Polish chronicle was most likely written in Hungary before the Mongol invasion.

The globolocal society dynamics are characterized by pronounced nonlinearity of functioning. The predictive analysis of low-probability events with large-scale effects (“jokers”) is particularly important, beginning to play a key role in the global agenda, the launch of which is often caused by borderline phenomena. In the article, the author refers to the concept of marginality as one of the possible models for explaining modern processes. The increase in the content components of the concept is presented.

The article analyzes the problem of police interaction with citizens. The author considers some forms of interaction between the police and society. The analysis of individual sociological concepts made it possible to determine the key role of interaction in the formation of citizens’ trust in the police. With the help of secondary data analysis, as well as the focus group method, the main problems arising during the interaction of the police with citizens, as well as the main directions of strengthening the trust of citizens of the police, are identified.

This article presents the results of an analytical review of empirical studies of interethnic interactions in European sociological science. The purpose of the article is to generalize information about the approaches used to conduct research in this area and some features of research designs. The research methods are theoretical - analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization. The results of the research can be used in monographic studies, scientific qualification papers and educational publications in the field of ethnosociology.

The article raises the problem of using invective vocabulary in situations of managerial influence in law enforcement agencies. Invective vocabulary becomes an integral background of verbalized management. The negative consequences of the rooting of this phenomenon are either habituation to it (servilization), or counter aggression, potentially leading to conflict.
