Dialectics of reception of Gumboldt's language philosophy in A.A.Potebniya's philosophical heritage

Abstract

The following article is intended for the presentation of dialectic potential of A.A. Potebnia's works by the means of disclosure his language conception, which is not only the result of the reflexion of the definite cultural linguistic material but is an entirely self-consistent study, which has been staying an incomparable sample of linguistic investigations during many decades. The following article deals with the main positions of A.A. Potebnia's language philosophy through the lens of analyses of V.F. Humboldt's historical and philosophical body of work. And from this point of view the interest towards the language problematics of A.A. Potebnia with further search of its most optimal solutions is very relevant.
