Abstract
In this article the calculation and analysis of dynamics of demographic pressure coefficient by retirees (DPCR) by age for the cities of the Samara region in comparison with similar coefficients of the Russian Federation, the Volga district, the Samara region in general and the urban population of Samara region were made. We came to the conclusion that the proportion of people over working age and DPCR in the Samara region is increasing.
