Abstract
In this article authors examine the features of understanding the nature, meaning and essence of a revolution in the philosophical legacy of Max Stirner. Particular attention is paid to its peculiar classification of historical types of European revolutions. Stirner’s understanding of the role of a man in the processes of changing the society is analyzed through his ideas on theoretical and practical formation of a revolutionary social and political alternative. Authors consider the possibilities of the modern theoretical interpretation of Max Stirner’s ideas about the revolution as well as the attempt to find ways of their practical application.
