Abstract
Multiple sclerosis (MS) - quite a widespread chronic multifactorial autoimmune neurodegenerative disease of central nervous system, which is based on the disintegration of the myelin sheath (dymyelination). The disease occurs in waves with exacerbations and remissions, often affects women, debuting at the age younger than 18 and older than 45 years.
