Some Semantic Aspects of the English Antonymous Adjectives (a study of HEAVY-LIGHT)
摘要
The article is devoted to the analysis of semantic peculiarities of some English adjectives, in particular, the antonymous adjectives heavy and light. The author analyses some theoretical aspects of adjectives: polysemy, lexical combinability, syntactical functions. The semantic peculiarities of the English adjectives heavy and light are studied from the viewpoint of their lexical combinability.

In the article there are analyzed the functioning of the keywords of social dictionary, which are grouped around the basic concepts «people», «authority», «wealth», «poverty» in the publicistic texts. In this case the purpose of analysis is the disclosure of basic stratagies and tactics of vocal action and consciousness manipulation through the language means.

Arabic Verbal Stems Study in the Works of Arabic Linguists
摘要
The main subject of the article is the linking research of different approaches to the study of lexical and grammatical means of the Arabic verbal stems in the works of Arabic linguists. It is shown that for a long time this problem was the centre of attention in the Arabic linguistics. Special attention is paid to show achievements of the Arabic grammar theory in this sphere.
