Abstract
The article discusses the problem of acmeological abilities. The analysis of the scientific literature conducted in the article has shown that the methods of achieving a high level of professionalism by creating specific subjective reality and creative self-development are insufficiently studied. In our opinion, acmeological approach objectively studying the patterns, algorithms, technology, productive use of internal resources in professional development allows conceptually to fill this research void, attracting and developing new concepts. The concept «acmeological abilities» can become one of these theoretical tools. Acmeological abilities, defined as the subjective capacity for self-development and self-actualization include the ability of self-improvement and self-realization in various spheres of life.
