Аннотация
The relevance of the study of the problems of France’s postcolonial policy in Africa is determined by global geopolitical changes that have increased the importance of the “Global South” in the world. The Republic of Mali is a clear example of the rapid transformation of relations with France, its former metropolis. The purpose of the study is to identify the neocolonial nature of two foreign policy strategies of “Françafrique” and “Afrique-France” in France’s postcolonial policy. The theoretical basis for achieving this goal is the theory of postcolonial discourse, which belongs to the scientific direction of postcolonial studies (E. Said, H. Baba, G. Spivak). To solve the research problems, the concept of “deconstruction” of the theory of postcolonial discourse was used, which describes the way to identify and criticize colonial stereotypes. The preservation of colonial stereotypes in the strategies of France’s African policy, which are reflected in the public consciousness of French society, is proven. The result of the study is to establish the causes and methods of reproducing colonial stereotypes in the postcolonial policy of France, to identify the principles of formation of discursive technologies for promoting “Western” neocolonial strategies in political practices.
