Resumo
In Russian and foreign historiography there is often raised the question of the timing of Christianity adoption by Eastern Slavs and the possible missionary activity of Cyril and Methodius among Eastern Slavs. The author collected and analysed available evidence of preaching of brothers from Salonika, and convincingly showed that the Christianization of Rus could have happened in 861, during their so-called «Khazar mission».
