Abstract
In 1895 German surgeon Frederic Trendelenburg has described the symptom of failure of gluteus medius and gluteus minimus muscles at congenital hip dislocation which named after him today. There is full translation of this article, the picture and the Trendelenburg's portrait cited in this report.
