Conceptual foundations of Russia’s civilizational security: socio-political aspect

In the context of the current Russia-West confrontation, an analysis is carried out and an attempt is made to predict the logic of the development of global processes from the standpoint of philosophy, sociology, political science, psychology, aimed at a single common result – the safe civilizational development of Russia, taking into account the following fundamental spiritual and moral grounds: the basis of the Eurasian model of civilizational development of Russia is a person whose personal qualities allow to ensure his self-realization and self-actualization in order to ensure the protection of his spiritual, moral and cultural values. It is shown that the main task of ensuring the civilizational security of Russia is to ensure the protection of the Russian population, its spiritual, moral and cultural values from possible sabotage by a potential enemy, political, ideological and psychological in nature, the development of education of the younger generation, the development of a highly moral personality sharing Russian traditional spiritual and moral values in modern society. The causes of the Russia-West confrontation, the main challenges and threats to Russia’s civilizational security from the United States and NATO, methodological approaches, principles and directions for ensuring the civilizational security of the Russian Federation are revealed.
