Abstract

The paper studies the structure and mechanical properties of plate metal made of Ti-5553 pseudo-β-alloy after hardening heat treatment in various modes. The possibility of obtaining the necessary set of physical and mechanical properties for deformed semifinished products of large thickness used in shipbuilding by selecting the optimal mode of hardening heat treatment is shown.
