Abstract
Used automotive catalysts are the major sources of secondary precious metals. The analysis of hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical technologies of extracting the precious metals from disposed automotive catalysts was made. The reasonability of use for utilization of new catalyst generation on metal transmitter of collector melting in plasma-arc furnace using self-generated steel manifold is introduced. We have outlined the directions of research works on a substantiation of process of autocatalysts utilization parameters.
