Abstract
The article defines the notion "economic subsystem of sustainable development". The conditions of functioning and requirements to the economic subsystem were considered. There is presented the structure of the model and the economic subsystem parameters characterizing it. The directions of its development in terms of sustainable development and some possible indicators to assess its effectiveness are proposed.
