Abstract
The article presents the author's thoughts on the most promising areas of evolution of tractor designs, based on the analysis of the impact of new design solutions on consumer properties of tractors. These properties are mainly determined by productivity, cost-effective use of resources, comfort and operational safety, and environmental properties.
