Avaliação
The requirements for manuscripts offered for publication are determined by the specifics of the magazine as academic journal devoted exclusively to the problems of the Eurasian space. At the same time, preference is given to materials that contain an analysis of both individual aspects and complexes of the most pressing economic, political and social problems of the new Eurasian states, which directly or indirectly affect (in positive or negative terms) the national interests of Russia.
In the field of ethical principles for evaluating materials submitted to the journal, the Editorial Board is guided by impartiality, the degree of scientific content of the texts and their professional level. The journal publishes only original articles that were not previously published by the authors in other magazines.
The ethics of cooperation between the authors and the Editorial Board of the journal presupposes agreement with the author of the edited version of the text.
The use in the article of arguments, appreciations and statements of other researchers and other persons, previously published in any printed publications or presented in the Internet, is possible and permissible only as illustrations to the provisions of the author's own scientific analysis, with the obligatory indication of the eprimary sources of such publications.
The texts of articles should be based on official sources, empirical data, works of other researchers and specialists, but at the same time contain the author's own evaluation of problems and phenomena in the economy and politics of the CIS countries, in the sphere of interstate relations.
The publication should reflect the author's position, which can bring something new to the interpretation of the problems under study. At the same time, the use of materials of other researchers and the author's own previously published works is possible and permissible to the extent and in cases where it is necessary to confirm and justify provisions that reveal new content in known facts and phenomena under investigation.
Reviewing. Materials submitted to the Editorial Board of the journal are subject to review to evaluate the feasibility of their publication. The review is conducted in two stages: initially, the manuscripts are reviewed internally by the editorial staff, including the Editor-in-chief. This review evaluates whether the subject of the article corresponds to the journal's profile. If from their point of view the material corresponds to the profile of the journal, is made at the appropriate scientific level and is designed in accordance with the standards of the journal, it is submitted for external review.
Qualified specialists from the relevant fields of science are involved as external reviewers. This review evaluates the degree of relevance of the problems studied, the scientific level, and the reasonableness of the author's conclusions. The reviewer gives an overall evaluation of the article – whether it can be accepted for publication in an unchanged form or needs to be finalized. In this case, the reviewer offers recommendations for processing the material.
The author may be refused to publish the material if the content of the manuscript does not meet the thematic and conceptual guidelines of the journal, if the article is written at a low level and cannot be edited, if the evidence base does not meet generally accepted standards and requirements.
Reviews are stored in the journal's editorial office for at least 5 years. If necessary, the author is sent a copy of the review or a reasoned refusal to publish. When a request is received, a copy of the review can be sent to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
