Abstract

In recent years, there has been a significant decrease in the level of physical activity and a deterioration in the health of primary school-age children, including an increase in postural disorders and deviations in the functioning of the musculoskeletal system. Anti-gravity, as an innovative method of physical training, demonstrates considerable potential in improving the health of children by combining static and gymnastic exercises in hammocks, which stimulates coordination, flexibility, and the development of the muscle corset.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed anti-gravity program for enhancing physical fitness, correcting posture, and normalizing body weight in children aged 7 to 10 years.
Research methods. To achieve the objective, pedagogical testing, observations, surveys of parents and coaches, monitoring of motor activity, analysis of medical data, and statistical processing of results were utilized. The study was conducted with the participation of 14 children over a period of 10 months at one of the fitness clubs in Moscow.
Research results. It has been established that anti-gravity exercises lead to an increase in endurance, strengthening of the musculoskeletal system, and a reduction in body weight. Significant improvements have been recorded in the indicators of coordination, strength, and flexibility. Postural deviations have decreased in 71.4% of children, and their physical activity has reached optimal levels.
Conclusion. The anti-gravity method has proven its effectiveness as a tool aimed at improving the health of younger schoolchildren.
