The analysis of international experience of functioning of centers of pharmaceutical information as condition of increasing of awareness of patients

Abstract

The article considers prerequisites of organization of centers of pharmaceutical information, including historical aspects of their development abroad and factors impacting their activity. The analysis demonstrated that in Russia centers of pharmaceutical information are underdeveloped and provided services considerably lag behind of their foreign analogues. In Russia, development of centers of pharmaceutical information permits enhancing quality and availability of pharmaceutical care.
