Abstract
A rational mixture composition is selected. The governing index adopted is the prescribed granule bulk density with maximum strength. It is established that object properties are considerably affected by the ratio of the main mixture components, i.e., electromelted corundum, ground technical grade alumina, and foam polystyrene, providing the greatest yield of 5 – 10 and 10 – 20 mmfraction granules.
