Synthesis of АВВВ-type macroheterocyclic compounds containing a 3-alkyl-1,3,4-thidiazoline fragment

1,1-Dimethoxy-3-inoisoindoline was reacted with 3-alkyl-1,3,4-thiadiazoline to obtain macroheterocyclic compounds containing three isoindole fragments and one 3-alkyl-1,3,4-thiadiazoline fragment. The structure and composition of the synthesized compounds were studied by means of electronic absorption, IR, and ¹H NMR spectroscopy, and well as mass spectral ana elemental analyses.
