Abstract

N-Formylcytisine has been synthesized and characterized using ¹H NMR spectroscopy. Two conformers of N-formylcytisine have been found to exist in the DMSO-d₆ solution. The structure of the most stable conformer has been studied by means of X-ray diffraction analysis.
