Abstract
Reaction of avermectin B1 with succinic acid monoethyl ester chloride under catalysis of 2,6-lutidine provided hitherto unknown 5-O-mono- and 4″,5-O, O-bis-derivatives with ethyl succinoyl moiety that are potential antiparasitics.
