Аннотация

BaBrI crystals activated by Sm²⁺ ions were synthesized by the Bridgman method. The Sm content in the samples was analyzed by the method of mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma. The results of the study of the optical and scintillation characteristics of the synthetic crystals, such as photoluminescence, X-ray luminescence, and absorption spectra, are reported. The light yield of the luminescence of the studied samples was estimated.
