NEGATIVE HALLUCINATION. THE HISTORY OF THE CONCEPT, PSYCHOPATHOLOGY AND ITS POTENTIAL POSITION IN THE CLINICAL PRACTICE

Abstract

The study describes the phenomenon of negative hallucination and gives a brief overview of the origin of its concept. It shows the connection between negative hallucination and other psychopathological disorders and protective mechanisms of the personality, as well as the position of negative hallucinations in classical literature, narcology and the clinical practice of treating schizophrenia.
