Abstract

The major etiological factors and pathophysiological mechanisms of development of transient global amnesia are presented. The role of violation of cerebral venous outflow in pathogenesis of transient global amnesia is discussed. Clinical characteristics of this state are submitted and modern recommendations about diagnostics and treatment are made.
