AUTONOMY - SOCIOTROPY: THE RESULTS OF PERSON INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGICAL PREDISPOSITION STUDIES IN ASSESSING THE DEGREE OF ADAPTABILITY IN A DIFFICULT SITUATION (ON THE EXAMPLE OF MOTHERS WITH CEREBRAL PALSY CHILDREN)

The analysis of experimental data relating to the detection of individual psychological predispositions causing the adaptive activity of behavior is presented. In view of the general laws of psychic mechanisms of adaptation and subjective-personal potential, the results were obtained, which indicate that in the complex set of personality individually-typological structure an important role is played by the autonomy (independence), as one of the main components of a subject of adaptability while overcoming emotional stress situations. It is noted that the subjective principle makes it possible to expand the understanding of the adaptability mechanisms due to situational and individual psychological variables. It was revealed that individual psychological predisposition “autonomy” - “sociotropy” significantly affects the likelihood of protective reactions and behavior strategies in difficult (stressful) situations thus represent the reference data, taking into account of which makes it possible not only to assess the severity of an individual pattern of behavior, but also to measure the level of adaptability and disadaptability. The experimental study involved mothers of children with cerebral palsy (CP) with intact intellect.
