THIOCETAM THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH MIDDLE CEREBRAL ARTERY INFARCTION

Abstract

There was studied the effect of Thiocetam on the level of asthenia anxiety and depression in patients, who underwent cerebral infarction in the middle cerebral artery at the left part. In patients, obtaining Thiocetam there was noticed a decrease of general asthenia level, general score by asthenia scale, of anxiety and depression. The treatment by Thiocetam in the dosage of 20 ml added to 100 ml of physiological solution daily by intravenous course for 14 days has been determined to be the most effective for patients with middle cerebral artery infarction in the late rehabilitation period.
