Abstract
The article discusses the study of relationship between therapeutic alliance and compliance of patients with opioid addiction: an increase in therapeutic alliance has been accompanied with an increase in compliance. The well-established therapeutic alliance as a therapeutic tool has been combined with a high level of the patients' willingness to comply with the treatment prescribed. The findings have validated the study's hypothesis regarding a positive influence of therapeutic alliance on compliance of patients with opioid addiction.
