Abstract

The author studied the nerve nodes of the heart in animals (rabbits and dogs) poisoned with street rabies poison and fixed poison, and in humans in two cases of death from rabies. In all cases, he did not find any specific changes in the nerve cells. Nerve nodes were infiltrated with leukocytes, stromal cells proliferated.
