Аннотация
Изменение природных экосистем стало повседневной реальностью и оценка их способности обеспечивать общество продуктами и услугами (пресная вода, климат, плодородие почвы и т. д.), необходимыми для благополучия населения превращается в актуальную прикладную задачу. Все большее внимание привлекает вопрос: “изменит ли утрата биологического разнообразия функционирование локальных экосистем”. В первом сообщении мы рассматриваем основные современные подходы к мониторингу экосистем. Обсуждается выделение исторических, и новых (novel) экосистем, упругость экосистемы (resilience), пороговый эффект, теоретически обоснованное восстановление и социально-экологические компромиссы. Рассмотрены принципы индикации, требования к индикаторам, возможность и перспективы использования мелких млекопитающих в качестве индикаторов динамики локальных экосистем.
