Resumo
In 2024, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding physical chemist of the XX century, Academician N.S. Enikolopov, is celebrated. The scientist had a great thirst and love for science, was a talented researcher, organizer and teacher. Its scientific school has nurtured many scientists. It is difficult to overestimate his contribution to the development of chemical science and the polymer industry. Among the most notable achievements of Nikolai Sergeevich are the detection and investigation of abnormally fast polymerization in the solid phase, the discovery of the interchain exchange reaction in the formation of heterochain polymers, etc.
