Религия киратов в Непале: поиски новой этнорелигиозной идентичности

Аннотация
Восточнонепальские народы лимбу, раи, йакха и сунувары входят в широкую этническую общность киранти. Непрерывность их традиционной религиозной культуры (почитание духов и обряды у временных алтарей) обеспечивалась комплексом устных текстов мундхум, хранителями которых выступали шаманы. В ХХ в. в силу социокультурных и политических причин традиционные верования подверглись серьезным изменениям. В начале ХХ в. возникло новое реформаторское учение Сатья Хангма (на яз. лимбу “истинная вера”); ее проповедник Пхальгунанда соединил традиционные верования с индуистскими представлениями, трансформировав догматику и религиозную практику. В конце ХХ в. в Непале начались политические процессы, способствовавшие росту этнорелигиозного самосознания ряда народов, что привело к появлению феномена религии киратов. В переписях населения с 1991 г. появилась графа “религия киратов”.
