Author Guidelines

Submission

The authors should use the electronic manuscript submission form. The initial submission is your paper, your way; no formatting rules are needed until acceptance. The manuscript containing an abstract, the text of the article, a list of references, tables and captions of figures, graphs and figures should be submitted in the MS Word or pdf format.

Authors of accepted manuscripts should provide graphics and drawings in JPG, TIFF or EPS format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi (each illustration is a separate file). This can be after acceptation of the article for publication. The size of the attached file should not exceed 20 Mb. If you need to send a larger file to the editorial office, please contact the editorial office by e-mail at editor@ontogenez.org.

Cover Image

The Editorial Board invites the authors of the accepted articles one or more images (primarily photographs of biological objects) that correspond to the subject of your publication and have a brief caption. The best images will be placed on the journal's website. The images can be submitted here

Submission of the final version of an accepted manuscript

The article should be clearly written and carefully edited. Original articles should be divided into the following parts: "Material and Methodology, Results, Discussion, References. Duplication of material in tables, figures and text is not allowed. All pages of the manuscript, including tables, references and figure captions, should be numbered.

COVER PAGE

The first page of the article should contain the title of the article, the names of the authors and their affiliations followed by the abstract and keywords.

The title of the article should be brief (less than 200 characters) and reflect the essence of the work. The use of abbreviations should be avoided.

The abstract should be concise and contain the purpose, main results and most significant conclusions of the paper. The abstract should not exceed 250 words.

Keywords should reflect the main aspects of the work (model, object of study, key methods). Abbreviations should be avoided.

INTRODUCTION

Introduction should reflect the current state of the problem, contain the rationale for the used methodological approaches and clearly formulated goals and objectives of the study.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

Description of methods should contain sufficient information to reproduce the work. Description of standard methods should be limited to a reference to the original work. Particular attention should be paid to the description of all controls used. Manufacturers' names for used reagents and equipment should be provided. Statistical processing of the material should indicate the statistical methods and software used. When working with animals, it is necessary to note the compliance of experimental manipulations with national and international standards on bioethics, to indicate the methods used for anesthesia, euthanasia and care of experimental animals before and after the experimental interventions.

RESULTS

Results should be presented clearly and concisely. All illustrations should be quoted at least once in the text.

DISCUSSION

The discussion should include an assessment of the reliability, novelty and value of the results obtained, as well as the prospects for further work. It is acceptable to combine the results and discussion in one section In this case, it is advisable to summarize the main points and conclusions of the work in the "Conclusion" section at the end of the article.

At the end of the article, the following sections should be included:

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

General information on any assistance with the work and preparation of the article, other than financial assistance: (a) thanks to colleagues and reviewers (in special cases); (b) information on the provision of materials, data, computer equipment, loaned instruments; (c) information on the conduct of research in collective centres; (d) assistance in the preparation of illustrations, etc.

FUNDING

Information on grants and any other financial support for research. Please do not use the abbreviated names of the sponsoring organizations in this section.

COMPLIANCE WITH ETHICAL STANDARDS

This section should be present in all articles (regardless of whether animals and humans were involved in the experiments in this study).

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

A conflict of interest is any relationship that could directly or indirectly affect or bias your work.

Examples:

"Conflict of Interest: Author H.H.H. owns shares in the Company Y mentioned in the article. Author Y.Y.Y. is a member of Committee XXXX".

"Conflict of Interest: The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest".

AUTHOR CONTRIBUTIONS

Published to determine each author's contribution to the study.

Example:

"The authors of X1, X2 and X3 proposed the experiment, the authors of X4 and X5 synthesized the samples and conducted their electrochemical study. X3 and X4 conducted research by Raman Spectroscopy and NMR. The authors X1 and X6 participated in the data processing. The author of X7 performed theoretical calculations. The authors X1, X2 and X7 participated in writing the text of the article. All authors participated in the discussion of the results.”

SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIALS

Authors are encouraged to submit supplementary materials (e.g., videos, large spreadsheets, presentations).

REFERENCES

References should contain only the works quoted in the article. Names of authors of articles are arranged in alphabetical order. If several works of one author are published in the same, they are given letter designations: 2009a, b, etc.

Book references should contain the name and initials of the authors, the title of the book, the place of publication and the publisher, the year of publication and the total number of pages, for example: Korochkin L.I. Title of the book (full name required). Moscow: Science, 1977. 280 pp..

Articles should be cited as follows: Vasilieva T.V., Michurina T.V., Khrushchov N.G. (If there are more than three authors, use et al.). Title of the article (in abbreviated form, without quotes). 1978. v 9. № 3. p.288–290.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLE

It is recommended to use Microsoft Word. The text should be formatted with one and a half intervals between lines in the standard font Windows TrueType (Times New Roman - for text, Symbol - for Greek letters), font size12.

Physical values should be expressed SI units, and the relative atomic masses of elements on the scale of 12C.

Abbreviations

The following common abbreviations may be used to refer to chemical compounds in the text of the article (except for the abstract): dimethyl sulfoxide - DMSO, dimethylformamide - DMFA, polyacrylamide gel - PAAG, amino acids - Gly, Ala, Val, etc.

Standard biochemical and molecular-biological methods of analysis and related terms are denoted in the text by generally accepted acronyms in capital letters: PCR: polymerase chain reaction, NMR: nuclear magnetic resonance etc. All non-standard designations and abbreviations used by the authors are explained in the text at the first mention.

Tables

Use MS Word or MS Excel to create tables. Tables should be numbered and contain captions. Abbreviations are not allowed. Each table should be printed on a separate page.

Citations

The references should be cited as follows: (Girh, 1934). Multiple citations should be arranged in a chronological order, for example: "Tables for different fish species (Girh, 1934; Vernier, 1957; Smirnov, 1958; LeMeur, 1976) contain information...". References to works by more than two authors should be made as follows: (Dobrokhotov et al., 1962; Gateby et al., 1966).

Figures

Figures should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Vector illustrations should be provided in EPS format. Other illustrations are accepted in any standard graphic format, preferably JPEG or TIFF.

COLOUR FIGURES

Color illustrations will be published in the online version of the journal. Illustrations should only contain 8-bit color; the color in CMYK format.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the Publisher exclusive license to first publication.

All the Copyright statements for authors are present in the Standart Publishing Agreement to Publish an Article. The Agreement filled in and signed by authors should be upload to the Publisher within the all other files accompainged a manuscript when submitting.

 

Privacy Statement

The editorial Board of the journal and the administration of the website of the journal do not transfer personal information in any way specified by the users when working with the website of the journal to third parties, except for those cases and to the extent specified in the terms of the copyright agreement.

The affiliation work and e-mail address of the authors of the manuscript accepted for publication will be published in the section "information about the authors" of the printed version of the journal and in the section "about the authors" on the page of the article on the website of the journal.

The phone number of the corresponding author will be known only to the editorial Board Secretariat and will only be used in cases of emergency.

1. Я (далее – «Пользователь» или «Субъект персональных данных»), осуществляя использование сайта https://journals.rcsi.science/ (далее – «Сайт»), подтверждая свою полную дееспособность даю согласие на обработку персональных данных с использованием средств автоматизации Оператору - федеральному государственному бюджетному учреждению «Российский центр научной информации» (РЦНИ), далее – «Оператор», расположенному по адресу: 119991, г. 8. Субъект персональных данных вправе запретить своему оборудованию прием этих данных или ограничить прием этих данных. При отказе от получения таких данных или при ограничении приема данных некоторые функции Сайта могут работать некорректно. Субъект персональных данных обязуется сам настроить свое оборудование таким способом, чтобы оно обеспечивало адекватный его желаниям режим работы и уровень защиты данных файлов «cookie», Оператор не предоставляет технологических и правовых консультаций на темы подобного характера.
