Briquetting of coal siftings and slacks in the presence of humates

Abstract

Experimental data obtained in the development of a technology for the production of fuel briquettes from coal siftings and slacks are presented. The effects of the moisture content and the granulometric composition of coal components, the type and concentration of a binding agent, the compacting pressure, and the mode of solidification on the mechanical properties of fuel briquettes were studied.
