Changing of nitrogen oxides formation in the cylinder of diesel engine operating on methanol
Abstract
The article presents the results of research of methanol use influence on nitrogen oxides content in the cylinder of 2Ч 10,5/12,0 diesel engine with binary system of fuel supply. Diagrams of methanol use influence on combustion process indicators, volume content and mass concentration of nitrogen oxides in the cylinder depending on change in crankshaft angle of engine are given.

Efficiency improvement of tractor diesel engine operating on biofuel
Abstract
Causes limiting the mass use of fuels produced from biomass in the energy consumption of domestic agroindustrial complex are analyzed. A method for improvement of performance indices of tractor diesel operating on biofuel is proposed. Results of experimental testing of the method are given.

Irrigated packings for air handling in systems of wheeled and tracked vehicles
Abstract
Designs of flat-slotted irrigated packings of regular structure made of cogged plates of cellular plastic with different air flow regimes in their channels are considered. It is shown that in case of intensification of heat and mass transfer by means of artificial turbulization of air flow in channels the significant reduction is provided in size of packing after reaching of required efficiency of air temperature reduction and acceptable aerodynamic resistance.

Secondary utilization of waste heat for heat regimes optimization in aggregates of self-propelled vehicles
Abstract
The paper proposes a functional diagram for system of secondary utilization of engine waste heat. The system is used for preheating and heat regimes optimization in aggregates of self-propelled vehicles operating in wide range of ambient air temperatures. The system includes recuperative heat exchanger of utilization circuit equipped with automatic control of its heating efficiency, heat consumption circuits and electronic control devices.

Results of research of moving stability of wheeled tractor under high traction load
Abstract
The article presents the results of researches conducted with the use of computer that allow to estimate the influence of tractor unit parameters on possibility of self-excited oscillations of wheeled tractor frame in the case of its moving under load that causes significant slipping of driving wheels.

Abstract
The article deals with issues of gear shifting modeling and a method of piecewise stepless regulation of tractors speed, based on rational choice of sufficiently small range of engine corrector characteristic, in which the power doesn’t decrease below nominal one and fuel efficiency is saved.

Mathematical model of movement of particles in a rotary separator
Abstract
The article presents a model of particles movement in the flow of grain mass by means of screw turns of rotary separator with longitudinal arrangement of rotor. The instances of mobile casing and stationary one with screw guide ribs and without them are considered. Theoretical efficiency estimation of rotation of casing and guide ribs is given.

Influence of design and technological parameters of forage shredder on the specific work of shredding
Abstract
Results of theoretical researches revealing the dependence of specific work of forages shredding on design and technological parameters of a shredder are presented. A formula is obtained; on its basis diagrams of specific work alteration depending on rotor hammer offset are constructed. It is revealed that rotor radius has the greatest influence on shredding process.
