О биологической роли ацетилирования/деацетилирования гистонов в процессе прорастания зародышей растений

Переход зародышей из состояния покоя в воздушно-сухих семенах в состояние с высокоактивным метаболизмом в процессе прорастания сопровождается значительными изменениями как пространственных, так и временных паттернов экспрессии генов и контролируется многоуровневыми регуляторными сетями. Ацетилирование гистонов – один из наиболее динамичных эпигенетических механизмов, играющий важную роль на этапах быстрых преобразований функциональной активности клеток. Характер и степень ацетилирования белков хроматина зависят от транскрипционной активности хроматина, а также связаны с репликацией ДНК и клеточным циклом. Получение в перспективе полной картины участия модификации гистонов в процессах прорастания семян будет полезно для повышения урожайности сельскохозяйственных культур, как способ оценки качества и жизнеспособности семян перед посевом, и позволит разработать методы управления реализации генетического потенциала растений.
