Geometry of Higgs bundles over elliptic curves related to automorphisms of simple Lie algebras, Calogero–Moser systems, and KZB equations
摘要
We construct twisted Calogero–Moser systems with spins as Hitchin systems derived from the Higgs bundles over elliptic curves, where the transition operators are defined by arbitrary finite-order automorphisms of the underlying Lie algebras. We thus obtain a spin generalization of the twisted D’Hoker–Phong and Bordner–Corrigan–Sasaki–Takasaki systems. In addition, we construct the corresponding twisted classical dynamical r-matrices and the Knizhnik–Zamolodchikov–Bernard equations related to the automorphisms of Lie algebras.

Anosov C-systems and random number generators
摘要
We further develop our previous proposal to use hyperbolic Anosov C-systems to generate pseudorandom numbers and to use them for efficient Monte Carlo calculations in high energy particle physics. All trajectories of hyperbolic dynamical systems are exponentially unstable, and C-systems therefore have mixing of all orders, a countable Lebesgue spectrum, and a positive Kolmogorov entropy. These exceptional ergodic properties follow from the C-condition introduced by Anosov. This condition defines a rich class of dynamical systems forming an open set in the space of all dynamical systems. An important property of C-systems is that they have a countable set of everywhere dense periodic trajectories and their density increases exponentially with entropy. Of special interest are the C-systems defined on higher-dimensional tori. Such C-systems are excellent candidates for generating pseudorandom numbers that can be used in Monte Carlo calculations. An efficient algorithm was recently constructed that allows generating long C-system trajectories very rapidly. These trajectories have good statistical properties and can be used for calculations in quantum chromodynamics and in high energy particle physics.

Bilinear approach to the supersymmetric Gardner equation
摘要
We study a supersymmetric version of the Gardner equation (both focusing and defocusing) using the superbilinear formalism. This equation is new and cannot be obtained from the supersymmetric modified Korteweg–de Vries equation with a nonzero boundary condition. We construct supersymmetric solitons and then by passing to the long-wave limit in the focusing case obtain rational nonsingular solutions. We also discuss the supersymmetric version of the defocusing equation and the dynamics of its solutions.

Induced vacuum charge of massless fermions in Coulomb and Aharonov–Bohm potentials in 2+1 dimensions
摘要
We study the vacuum polarization of zero-mass charged fermions in Coulomb and Aharonov–Bohm potentials in 2+1 dimensions. For this, we construct the Green’s function of the two-dimensional Dirac equation in the considered field configuration and use it to find the density of the induced vacuum charge in so-called subcritical and supercritical regions. The Green’s function is represented in regular and singular (in the source) solutions of the Dirac radial equation for a charged fermion in Coulomb and Aharonov–Bohm potentials in 2+1 dimensions and satisfies self-adjoint boundary conditions at the source. In the supercritical region, the Green’s function has a discontinuity related to the presence of singularities on the nonphysical sheet of the complex plane of “energy,” which are caused by the appearance of an infinite number of quasistationary states with negative energies. Ultimately, this situation represents the neutral vacuum instability. On the boundary of the supercritical region, the induced vacuum charge is independent of the self-adjoint extension. We hope that the obtained results will contribute to a better understanding of important problems in quantum electrodynamics and will also be applicable to the problem of screening the Coulomb impurity due to vacuum polarization in graphene with the effects associated with taking the electron spin into account.

Approximate formulas for moderately small eikonal amplitudes
摘要
We consider the eikonal approximation for moderately small scattering amplitudes. To find numerical estimates of these approximations, we derive formulas that contain no Bessel functions and consequently no rapidly oscillating integrands. To obtain these formulas, we study improper integrals of the first kind containing products of the Bessel functions J0(z). We generalize the expression with four functions J0(z) and also find expressions for the integrals with the product of five and six Bessel functions. We generalize a known formula for the improper integral with two functions Jυ (az) to the case with noninteger υ and complex a.

Lower part of the spectrum for the two-dimensional Schrödinger operator periodic in one variable and application to quantum dimers
摘要
We study the semiclassical asymptotic approximation of the spectrum of the two-dimensional Schrödinger operator with a potential periodic in x and increasing at infinity in y. We show that the lower part of the spectrum has a band structure (where bands can overlap) and calculate their widths and dispersion relations between energy and quasimomenta. The key role in the obtained asymptotic approximation is played by librations, i.e., unstable periodic trajectories of the Hamiltonian system with an inverted potential. We also present an effective numerical algorithm for computing the widths of bands and discuss applications to quantum dimers.

Exhaustive study of the noise-induced phase transition in a stochastic model of self-catalyzed reactions
摘要
We completely investigate the stationary distribution density in the space of relative concentrations for the three-parameter stochastic Horsthemke–Lefever model of a binary self-catalyzed cyclic chemical reaction with perturbations produced by thermal fluctuations of reagents taken into account. This model is a stationary diffusion random process generated by a stochastic equation with the Stratonovich differential, whose marginal distribution density admits a bifurcation restructuring from the unimodal to the bimodal phase with increasing noise intensity, which is interpreted physically as a dynamical phase transition induced by fluctuations in the system.

More about wormholes in generalized Galileon theories
摘要
We consider a class of generalized Galileon theories within general relativity in space–times with more than two spatial dimensions. We show that these theories do not admit stable, static, spherically symmetric, asymptotically flat Lorentzian wormholes.

Remote control of quantum correlations in a two-qubit receiver by a three-qubit sender
摘要
We study remote control of quantum correlations (discord) in a subsystem of two qubits (receiver) via parameters of the initial state of another three-qubit subsystem (sender) connected to the receiver by an inhomogeneous spin s = 1/2 chain. We propose two parameters characterizing the creatable correlations. The first parameter is the discord between the receiver and the remainder of the spin s = 1/2 chain, and it concerns the mutual correlations between these two subsystems. The second parameter is the discord between the two nodes of the receiver and describes the inner correlations of the receiver. We study the dependence of these two discords on the inhomogeneity parameter of the spin chain.
